Wendy Oliveras, MS
Wendy has garnered many years of professional experience in the legal, intellectual property, small business consulting, Human Resources Management, educational, and leadership training fields. She holds a Master's Degree with honors in Human Resources Management, a post-graduate Certification in Career Planning and Development from The New School in New York City, and a Certification in Mental Health First Aid Training.
In 2001, she founded Oliveras & Company, Inc., a legal staffing search firm. Wendy successfully recruited attorneys, partners, support staff, and HR professionals in their job search here and abroad. She provided recruitment and career planning to thousands of candidates, entrepreneurs, inventors, sole proprietors, and startups. Her industry focus includes, but is not limited to, pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotechnology, engineering, technology, STEM, and litigation.
In 2012, Wendy authored a self-help business book entitled "Let's Play SHESS - Succeed in your game of life and business by playing chess: from Pawn to Queen." As a result, she was inspired to launch her second consulting business, SHESS Global Alliance, LLC in 2014. Wendy has put together a professional team of experts to help provide strategic business advisory and training services for companies in the corporate, education, non-profit, and government sectors. SGA is also a member of the U.S. Small Business Chamber of Commerce; and Dell Women's Entrepreneur Network (DWEN). Wendy is also a member of the U.S. Chess Federation.
